Aboitiz Power Renewables Inc. Meets with Albay Governor, Discusses Energy Regulations and Fund Allocation

Legazpi City, Albay – Representatives from Aboitiz Power Renewables Inc. (APRI) met with Albay Governor Noel Ebriega Rosal and members of the local finance committee on October 7, 2025, to discuss key aspects of energy regulations and fund management.
 
The meeting focused on providing an orientation and briefing on the provisions and guidelines of Energy Regulations 1-94 (ER 1-94), which outline the benefits and responsibilities related to energy resource development. Discussions also included updates on fund allocation and clarification of the roles and responsibilities of the provincial government in relation to these regulations.
 
Representing APRI at the meeting were John Michael Rico, Assistant Vice-President for Stakeholder Relations and Permitting, and Wendy Bautista, Manager for Stakeholder Relations and Permitting. Their presence underscores APRI's commitment to fostering strong relationships with local government units and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
The meeting highlights the ongoing collaboration between APRI and the Albay provincial government in promoting sustainable energy development and ensuring that the benefits of energy projects are shared with the local community.
