Albay Police Launches 'Oplan Undas 2025' with Goal of Zero Crime Incidents


Ligao City, Albay – The Albay Provincial Police Office (APPO) has officially activated "Oplan Undas 2025" today, October 29, 2025, at 12:00 PM, to ensure a safe and peaceful observance of All Saints' and All Souls' Days. The operation will run until November 3, 2025.
 
In an interview with Bicol Net TV, PLTCOL Arthur Tagtag, Deputy Provincial Director for Operations, emphasized the APPO's commitment to maintaining order and security throughout the Undas season. He stated, "We have contingency plans in place to attain the goal of our Provincial Director: zero crime incidents during Undas 2025."
 
"Oplan Undas 2025" involves placing all police officers in Albay on heightened alert, with increased visibility and patrols in key areas such as cemeteries, churches, bus terminals, and major roads. The police force is prepared to assist travelers and visitors who will be paying respects to their departed loved ones.
 
PLTCOL Tagtag added that the APPO is coordinating with local government units and other agencies to ensure a comprehensive and effective security plan. The public is encouraged to cooperate with authorities and report any suspicious activities.
 
With "Oplan Undas 2025" now in effect, the Albay Provincial Police Office aims to provide a secure environment for the community to commemorate Undas with peace of mind.
