ALBAY'S LINGGO NG KABATAAN 2025 CULMINATES in EMPOWERING YOUTH EVENT

Camalig, Albay – The Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO) successfully concluded its "Linggo ng Kabataan 2025" celebration with a vibrant culminating activity held on October 6, 2025, at the Negosyo Center, APAO, Camalig, Albay. The event, which was graced by the presence of Albay Governor Noel E. Rosal, brought together youth representatives and stakeholders for a day focused on education, talent, and empowerment.
 
The program featured insightful educational lectures delivered by representatives from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA). These sessions aimed to equip the youth with vital information and awareness on critical social issues. Adding to the day's excitement were spirited talent competitions, showcasing the diverse skills and creativity of Albay's young population. Inspiring messages from personnel of the Provincial Government of Albay, including Governor Rosal himself, further motivated the attendees, reinforcing the provincial leadership's commitment to youth development.
 
The culminating activity saw the attendance of various key figures, including representatives from local social welfare and development offices across Albay. Also present were officers and members of the Pag-Asa Youth Association of the Philippines (PYAP) Albay Federation, underscoring the collaborative effort in fostering a supportive environment for the province's youth. The event served as a platform to celebrate the potential of young Albayanos and to instill in them a sense of purpose and community engagement.
