DARAGA, BUSINESSES UNITE TO SUPERCHARGE CAGSAWA TOURISM!

Daraga, Albay – A successful dialogue between the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Daraga and local business owners, including landowners leasing LGU property, concluded with a significant financial agreement yesterday, October 1, 2025. The meeting, held at the Mayor's Conference Room, paves the way for strengthened tourism in the Cagsawa area.
 
Mayor Victor U. Perete spearheaded the discussion, alongside key department heads including Maria Muriele Galicia from the General Services Office (GSO), Michael Margallo of the Business Permit and Licensing Office (BPLO), and Edwin Rebancos from the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO).
 
The primary objective of the meeting was to address business transaction challenges and foster mutual agreement on the proposed financial aspects presented by the LGU to Cagsawa businesses. Beyond resolving financial matters, Mayor Perete aims to bolster and further support local businesses, particularly those in Cagsawa, recognizing their role in attracting more tourists to Daraga.
 
Mayor Perete expressed his sincere gratitude and unwavering support to the business owners who attended the meeting, highlighting the importance of collaboration in fostering economic growth and promoting tourism within the municipality.
