DARAGA LGU EXTENDS AID TO MASBATE VICTIMS OF TYPHOON OPONG

Daraga, Albay – The Local Government Unit (LGU) of Daraga dispatched a team of department heads and selected employees to Masbate this afternoon to provide assistance to those affected by Typhoon Opong.
 
The relief efforts include the transportation of rice sacks, various vegetables, hygiene kits, blankets, water containers, and tarpaulins. These supplies will be delivered to Milagros, Masbate, one of the areas severely impacted by the typhoon.
 
Mayor Victor U. Perete expressed hope that the assistance will provide the people of Masbate with renewed hope and help them quickly recover from the disaster. The LGU's initiative underscores its commitment to extending support to neighboring communities in times of need.
