DARAGA MAYOR PERETE HIGHLIGHTS MORAL OBLIGATIONS IN 100-DAY ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT
Daraga, Albay – Mayor Victor Perete delivered his "Ulat sa Bayan" (Report to the People) today, October 8, 2025, at the Daraga Covered Court, marking his first 100 days in office. The event, themed "Isang Daan, Isang Tunguhin, Isang Daraga!" (One Hundred, One Goal, One Daraga!), showcased the administration's initial achievements while emphasizing the crucial role of moral obligations in effective governance.
While the report detailed progress across various sectors, a key highlight of Mayor Perete's speech was his emphasis on the importance of ethical conduct among public officials. He stated that numerous infrastructure projects and developmental initiatives would be meaningless without a strong foundation of moral obligations among those in positions of power. This focus on integrity and accountability resonated strongly with the audience.
The "Ulat sa Bayan" was attended by key local figures, including Vice Mayor Love Ruiz, Councilor Jun Nuñez, and Councilor Ian Macasinag. Other members of the municipal council were reportedly on official business. Also present were the different department heads of LGU Daraga, representatives from the PNP Daraga, and Barangay Officials from all 64 barangays of the municipality. The event underscored the collaborative effort required to achieve the administration's vision of "Isang Daan, Isang Tunguhin, Isang Daraga!" – a united Daraga working towards a common goal. Mayor Perete concluded by reaffirming his commitment to serving the people of Daraga with integrity and dedication..
