DARAGA, Albay – In anticipation of Tropical Storm Opong, Vice Mayor Love Ruiz spearheaded the packing and distribution of relief goods to families seeking shelter in evacuation centers this afternoon. Working from the Vice Mayor's headquarters, the team ensured that essential supplies reached those most vulnerable as the storm neared.
 
Vice Mayor Ruiz urged residents to remain vigilant, heed evacuation advisories, and prioritize the safety of their families. "Please stay alert, follow evacuation advisories, and put your family’s safety first," she emphasized.
 
The Vice Mayor concluded with a heartfelt reminder in the local dialect: "Magiringat tabi kita ubos. 🧡" (Let's all be careful.)
