JBDAPH Set to Enhance Diagnostic Capabilities with New CT Scan


Ligao City, Albay – The Josefina Belmonte Duran Albay Provincial Hospital (JBDAPH) in Ligao City is on track to significantly improve its diagnostic services with the installation of a new 32-slide CT scan machine. Albay Governor Noel E. Rosal announced in a recent Facebook post that the CT scan is currently undergoing testing and is awaiting approval for a Permit to Operate (PTO) from the Department of Health (DOH).

According to Governor Rosal, the hospital aims to have the CT scan operational in time for its soft opening, scheduled for November 26, 2025. The addition of this advanced imaging technology will enable the hospital to provide more accurate and timely diagnoses, benefiting patients from Ligao City and surrounding areas.
