LGU Daraga Intensifies Coordination, Preparation for Influenza
 DARAGA, ALBAY – The Local Government Unit (LGU) of Daraga is strengthening its coordination and preparation efforts to combat influenza.
 
Mayor Victor U. Perete led the Executive Committee Meeting on October 27, 2025, held at the Mayor's Conference Room, Municipal Hall. The meeting addressed various important issues and concerns from each department.
 
A key highlight was the presentation and passage of Executive Order No. 46, Series of 2025, concerning influenza-like illness prevention and preparedness measures for the town of Daraga.
 
The executive order aims to enhance influenza monitoring in the town and educate the public on proper symptom recognition to prevent further spread.
 
With the assistance of the Municipal Health Office (MHO) and Barangay Health Workers (BHW), the public is encouraged to cooperate for prompt action and information dissemination.
 
These measures include maintaining cleanliness, monitoring health, and strict, organized preparations for the upcoming Undas (All Saints' Day and All Souls' Day).
 
The local government continues its coordination and collective action to address influenza cases.
