Suspect in Fatal Stabbing of Father and Son in Bacacay, Albay Arrested

Bacacay, Albay – In a swift operation, the Bacacay Municipal Police Station, led by PMAJ NIÑO V AQUIATAN, apprehended a suspect in the brutal stabbing that resulted in the deaths of a father and son in Barangay Sula, Bacacay, Albay. 

The incident occurred around 1:30 PM on October 20, 2025, when a heated argument and confrontation erupted between the victims and the suspect, reportedly due to a land dispute. The victims sustained multiple stab wounds in various parts of their bodies. 

Responding swiftly, personnel from the Bacacay MPS and the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) rushed the victims to the Rural Health Unit (RHU). However, attending physician Dra. Maria Christina Miguel Nepumucino declared them dead on arrival due to the severity of their injuries.

Following a follow-up investigation, the suspect was promptly arrested within hours of the incident. The suspect is currently in police custody and will face appropriate charges.
