Vice Mayor Ruiz Pledges Legislative Support for Mayor Perete's Vision in Daraga

Daraga, Albay – During Mayor Victor Perete's "Ulat sa Bayan" celebrating his first 100 days in office, Vice Mayor Love Ruiz delivered a speech reaffirming the Sanggunian Bayan's commitment to supporting the Mayor's vision for a progressive and people-centered Daraga.
 
Vice Mayor Ruiz emphasized the importance of the initial 100 days in setting a clear direction for the administration. She lauded Mayor Perete's firm leadership and unwavering commitment to a more progressive, transparent, and people-centered Daraga, stating that his vision has already begun to take shape.
 
"These initial achievements reflect not only his personal dedication but also the collective effort of the entire local government, in partnership with our constituents who remain the heart and soul of public service," Ruiz said.
 
In a metaphorical analogy, she described Mayor Perete as the "driver" of Daraga, with the constituents as the "passengers" and the municipal government as the "conductor," working alongside the driver to ensure a smooth journey.
 
Vice Mayor Ruiz assured that the Sanggunian Bayan remains steadfast in its mandate to serve as the legislative arm of the local government, guided by principles of inclusivity, good governance, transparency, and genuine love for the community. She pledged the council's support in crafting policies, enacting ordinances, and providing the legislative backing necessary for the successful implementation of programs and projects that uplift the lives of the people of Daraga.
 
She commended the strides achieved within the first 100 days under Mayor Perete's leadership, highlighting advancements in programs promoting economic resilience, strengthening social services, improving public infrastructure, and upholding transparency and accountability.
 
"As Vice Mayor and Presiding Officer of the Sanggunian Bayan, I assure our Mayor and our beloved constituents that the legislative body will continue to work hand-in-hand with the Executive," Ruiz stated. She pledged to prioritize collaboration, dialogue, and service, fostering participatory governance where every "Daragueño" is a stakeholder in progress and development.
 
Vice Mayor Ruiz concluded her speech with a call for renewed energy and commitment, urging everyone to move forward united by a shared vision and purpose to build a Daraga that is progressive, inclusive, transparent, and compassionate..
