LEGAZPI CITY —A power outage failed to halt the budget hearing at the Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Albay earlier today. Despite the unexpected interruption, the session continued, allowing officials to finalize the budget presentation of the last two offices.
 
Board Member Sheina Onrubia-Dela Cruz took to Facebook to share the news, stating, "Nag-brownout habang nagbudget hearing, pero tuloy lang. Down to the budget presentation of last two offices." Her post highlighted the dedication and resilience of the council members to complete their crucial task.
 
The budget hearing is a vital process for allocating funds to various provincial programs and services. The Sangguniang Panlalawigan is responsible for reviewing and approving the annual budget, ensuring that resources are distributed effectively to meet the needs of Albay's constituents.
 
Despite the inconvenience caused by the brownout, the hearing pressed on, demonstrating the commitment of the officials to their duties.
