Congresswoman Lagman Inspects Key Water Source in Canaway

Tabaco City – Albay 1st District Congresswoman Krisel Lagman, accompanied by Mayor Cenon, Engr. Bien, and other local officials, conducted a thorough inspection of the water source in Canaway today. The inspection aimed to assess the current state of the water source, identify critical needs, and plan for necessary improvements to ensure a safe and reliable water supply for the community.

The inspection team meticulously examined the infrastructure and surrounding environment to determine the scope of work required. Discussions focused on sustainable solutions that would not only enhance the water supply but also protect the natural ecosystem.

Preliminary findings suggest that with strategic improvements, the Canaway water source has the potential to supply water to Tabaco City and the municipalities of Bacacay, Sto. Domingo, and Malilipot. This would significantly improve water access for residents and support local agriculture and industry.

Congresswoman Lagman emphasized her commitment to securing funding and resources for the project, highlighting its importance for the long-term development and well-being of the region. The local government officials pledged their full support, ensuring that the project moves forward efficiently and effectively.
