Critical Facilities Prioritized as ALECO Implements Strategic Power Restoration Plan
Legazpi City, Albay – In the wake of the recent typhoon, the Albay Electric Cooperative, Inc. (ALECO) is implementing a phased "Typhoon Recovery Energization Process," prioritizing critical facilities to receive power first. This strategic approach, coordinated with the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP), focuses on restoring essential services to hospitals, government offices, and other vital infrastructure.
While ALECO acknowledges the widespread need for electricity, the cooperative emphasizes that this methodical process ensures the safest and most effective restoration possible. The cooperative is urging patience from residents as they work through the prioritized list, focusing on infrastructure integrity and safety.
"We understand the urgency and frustration of those without power," stated a representative from ALECO. "Our priority is to restore power to critical services first, ensuring the safety and well-being of the community. We are working tirelessly to reach everyone as quickly and safely as possible."
ALECO is also asking for the public's continued support and prayers for the safety of their field teams, who are working long hours in challenging conditions. Regular updates on the restoration progress will be provided through ALECO's official channels.
