DPWH 2nd District Expedites Clearing Operations Following Typhoon Uwan

Legazpi City, Albay - Week after Typhoon Uwan's passage, the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Albay 2nd District Engineering Office is diligently working to clear affected areas and restore normalcy to communities. Under the leadership of District Engineer Warren Azotea, teams are focused on removing debris and obstructions caused by the typhoon.
 
Clearing operations are in full swing, with crews actively addressing fallen trees, scattered debris, and other road hazards. The primary goal is to swiftly re-establish safe and smooth traffic flow, ensuring that essential services and aid can reach those in need without delay.
 
District Engineer Azotea emphasized the importance of these efforts, stating that the immediate restoration of road networks is crucial for the recovery process. By clearing roads and removing obstructions, the DPWH aims to facilitate the delivery of relief goods, medical assistance, and other essential resources to affected residents.
