Lagman Supporter Praises Congressman's Dedication to Legislation, Integrity

LEGAZPI CITY – A supporter of Congressman Edcel Lagman has taken to Facebook to express appreciation for the lawmaker's dedication to his duties and his integrity in public service.
 
The post, which has been circulating on social media, highlights Congressman Lagman's focus on crafting legislation that benefits a wider population, rather than seeking personal recognition through government aid distribution.
 
"Kaya pala bihira natin makita si Cong. Edcel sa mga pa-ayuda noon ano? Kasi hindi nya talaga ugaling mag angkin ng credits sa mga pinamimigay ng gobyerno at nakafocus sya sa paggawa ng mga batas na pakikinabangan ng mas nakararami," the supporter wrote. This translates to "So that's why we rarely saw Cong. Edcel during the aid distributions before, right? Because it's not his habit to take credit for what the government is distributing and he's focused on making laws that will benefit more people."
 
The supporter also emphasized Congressman Lagman's commitment to ethical governance, noting that he never used his position for personal gain, even during his tenure as Chairman of Appropriations.
 
"At kahit kailan, hindi sya nagsamantala sa kaban ng bayan upang gamitin ito sa pansariling interes kahit naging Chairman of Appropriations din sya noon," the post continued. This translates to "And he never took advantage of the public treasury to use it for personal interest even when he was Chairman of Appropriations before."
 
The post concludes with an affectionate tribute to Congressman Lagman, referring to him as the "Superman of Congress." "Iba talaga ang ating Superman ng Kongreso. 🥹💛" This translates to "Our Superman of Congress is really different. 🥹💛"
