Vehicle Collides with Unfinished Peñaranda Park; Calls for Improved Signage

LEGAZPI CITY, ALBAY – An accident occurred early this morning when a Ford Ranger pickup truck collided with the unfinished Albay Park.

Following the incident, residents are calling for the installation of clearer signage in the area to prevent future accidents. Jerome Corteza (Kaunan ni Jun), an entrepreneur located near the said park, stated that there is a significant need for a "turn right" sign in that particular portion of the road.

The park has been a subject of controversy in recent months, following the collapse of its stage, which resulted in injuries to students practicing in the area.

Local authorities are urged to prioritize the placement of adequate warnings and directional signs to ensure the safety of motorists and pedestrians. The investigation is ongoing.
