AMAC Expresses Gratitude for Successful "March Against All Corruption" in Albay

The Albay Movement Against Corruption (AMAC) has extended its heartfelt thanks to all who participated, attended, and fully supported the recent "Martsa Laban sa Lahat ng Katiwalian" (March Against All Corruption). In a statement released following the event, the anti-corruption group emphasized its deep appreciation for the outpouring of solidarity from the people of Albay, noting that the turnout exceeded expectations despite significant challenges.

Despite the heat, fatigue, and difficulties brought by the weather, the march demonstrated that the unity of Albay's residents is alive and strong. The presence of participants from all sectors—workers, farmers, youth, women, professionals, and laypeople—sent a clear message that the public is tired of the broken system and is demanding genuine change. Each attendee, regardless of background, contributed to a powerful display of collective desire for accountability and transparency in governance.

The strength shown during the march was more than just a gathering—it was a firm stand. AMAC highlighted the rallying cry that echoed throughout the event: "Tama na. Sobra na. Wakasan ang lahat ng anyo ng katiwalian. Panagutin ang mga mandarambong." (Enough is enough. End all forms of corruption. Hold the thieves accountable.) This declaration served as a unifying call for action, reflecting the community's growing frustration with corruption and its determination to put an end to it.

The success of the mobilization, according to AMAC, was made possible by every individual who gave their time, energy, and courage to stand up for truth and justice. The group stressed that the fight for clean governance does not end with the march—it continues in daily actions, vigilance, and organization. "Let us continue to strengthen our ranks," AMAC said. "Together, we can achieve true change."

The statement concluded with the movement's core advocacy: "End Corruption. Hold Thieves Accountable. Promote the National Democratic Alternative." As Albay's anti-corruption movement moves forward, AMAC remains committed to building on the momentum of the march and working with the community to create a more just and transparent society.
